Hm.. Every session of the Dutch Parliament (which I occasionally visit for Academic purposes) can be followed live through a webcam. This is quite handy, since the seat of our government is over two hours away (by train) from our school. I was wondering, however, if it was possible to save the records (I watch it through the Windows Media player) to my HD after I'm done. If anyone has any suggetions on how to do such a thing, I would be most grateful

You want to save the live stream as a video file? The only thing that comes to mind right now is the free trial version of Camtasia http://www.techsmith.com/products/studio/default.asp
I've used that to create videos of software projects I've done to show in presentations. I think it's time-limited though :( You can record any particular window and save the recording to disk. |
Cheers Vask. Looks like it will certainly come in handy

I've been helpful on lots of computer-related and maths-related threads - just ask the thread authors...now where did they go??

Umm, Vask, why defend your handiness to the woman who brought us such threads as "I got bit by a spider - help!" "My kid has foam up his nostril - help!" and "I think my computer has a virus - help!"? ;) :D

ROFL, my sharp tongue skills have been superceded - I hand the title over to Melusinchen :D
