I got this email recently - The XXXX's were my real name and an actual (former) address. Pay your 'release' fee, never hear from them again... It's a worry they had my real details...

Scam. If it were not asking you to send money, it would have a chance to be a legitimate sales tool. Not that it would be, but it would have a chance. You will not win the TV or the cheque, but the "other inventory" listed below.

The bit about your name is just public information. No big deal.

Stay away. Stay far away.

Definately, do as Bungle says. (errr... in this case at any rate ) If you were to fall for it you'd be out by far more than just $31.95 . They'd pull your accounts for everything they are worth.

So it would $32.95. :D

I'd also look into reporting it to Customs, etc. as they might be interested to know someone is pulling this scam using their organization as a front.
