I love the Might & Magic games.

I love the Wizardry games.

I've tried the Baldur's Gate clones, Morrowind, etc., and don't like those as much.

I'm looking for a party-based RPG as good as the M&M and Wizardry games.

Any recommendations? Or am I a dying breed in the age of first-person and internet-based games?

Welcome to IW! just wanna say hi!. Have you tried arcanium or planescape torment?

I actually bought wizards and warriors 2 days ago. it was being sold for 5 AUD. how cheap. I havent played it though. Hope my money is worth it.

ps: oh yeah, dont be surprised if this is moved to the micellenious games forum. this kind of post is better suited there.

I heard also btw, that there is a new warlord or might and magic game coming out soon. enjoy your time in IW.

Try Planescape: Torment if you're looking for a breath-taking story and atmosphere.

Wizards & warriors is a fine way to spend your gaming time. If you have problems getting it to run on a Win2k or XP system, stop by the Ironworks W&W forum -- we've helped a number of folks play it.

The graphics are a bit dated, being that the game is almost five years old now. So if you're looking for eye candy, you won't find it. If you're looking for a good RPG in the style of M&M and Wizardry, you'll find it. DW Bradley was also behind W&W.

I'd agree on Planescape Torment also! It took me til last year to actually purchase it and I couldn't believe I was deprived of it for so long!

Not sure how easy it is to find nowadays but a must have for any fan of RPG's especially one of BG!

Baldur's Gate, BGII, and Neverwinter Nights, especially its expansions, Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark.
