Actually a couple of weeks ago the NSW branch of the CWA (Country Women's Association) decided to adopt Advance Australia Fair as their anthem and drop God Save the Queen. Fortunately the Qld branch are standing firm on GSTQ :D

When I saw the topic I thought it was a cryptic reference to my birthday (yesterday, if anyone's interested [img]tongue.gif[/img] ), but I guess if you want something done, you have to do it yourself ;)

Aelia, Advance Australia Fair has been the national anthem since 1984...

I guess the CWA are at the cutting edge of Aussie culture.
