After one of my hard drives died, i have been looking into getting a replacement. I will be keeping the good 30g one but the 20g one died. I want this second one for games only. Should 40g be enough (and how much will that cost (£ sterling)? I have also seen a 80g for not much more than the 40g one but would that be too much?
Thanks for the help. I will be buying a new hard drive after my exam (singular!) so any advice within the next month would be nice. Edit- Hard Drve! lol [ 05-13-2004, 11:17 AM: Message edited by: Ironbar ] |
Prices for 80 Gig harddrives vary between 70 and 120€ overhere. You can never have too much discspace imo, since games are becoming larger and larger as well. If you play a lot of games, and like to keep em on your harddrive for a longer time, i'd go with the 80 Gig one.
I just saw an add for a 250 Gig harddrive, but that's a little over the top if you ask me. When you wanna scan that one, you might just as well go on a short vacation. By the time you get back, it's probably finished. :D |
Thanks

check out www.ebuyer.com and select uk, they have some nice deals for very cheap prices, you can actually get 120gb HDDs for about £80.
