Alright. Does anyone know what those keyboards with a pressure pad that acts as a mouse are called? The ones that are usually on laptops. I need this for an I.C.T project.

You mean touchpad?

Nickzilla 05-10-2004 05:21 AM

Yeah. Is that what the two of them on one piece of hardware are called?

The touchpad is the finger-touchie-mouse. I don't know if there is a special name for the keyboard & touchpad combo.

I just made a search on "keyboard with touchpad" and got good results. Sometimes being simple pays off :D

So, is there a special term for the keyboard and touchpad? Perhaps a "touchboard"

I have another question about I.C.T. Does Windows XP come with the Office package? Word, Excel etc. The nagging in the back of my head tells me yes but im not sure.

How I wish... but some manufacturers like Dell does bundled their PCs with MS Office SBE (SBE is the budget version of MS Office). I don't know if this is a common practice only in asia or they (Dell) do that for all the countries.

What? You want M$ to give you something? Come on, ain't nothing in this industry free! The crap the M$ babies give out is not full version. Dell, Compaq, HP, and the like. Thats called feel good consumer benefits, it makes you feel good to spend all that money for a machine, for them to give you a half baked program.
