If you like old beasts, it's hard to go past one of these.

Got myself a 1981 Porsche 924 at the moment. Hardly a muscle car, I know. But with the price of juice here in England, and my less than adequate wage, anything over 2 litres is just not affordable I'm afraid.

My musclecar has almost 6 liters (LT1-Z28)... and it gets better highway mileage than my 4-banger Subaru winter car. (27mpg vs. 25mpg)

Not bad for a car with over 400hp (over 500 on juice).

As far as faveorite's, there are so many it's hard to keep track. Older cars I'd probably list the Charger, '69 Fastback Mustang, late 60's Camaro's, Screaming Chicken Firebirds. (although there is some debate regarding whether pony cars should be considered "Muscle Cars"). The 70's era Malibu's are definitely on the list, along with the GTO's, Duster's, and lots more. I would love to have one of each.

Newer models would be 4th Gen Z28/TA's, 89 Turbo TA's and Grand Nationals.
