10 minutes ago I have woken from a nightmare. I can't remember all of it so here it goes.
All I can remember that I was in this dark gloomy room with broken windows, drapes torn and a lot dirt and all on the soft floor and the walls. It had a ominous feeling to it. But fortunately I was not alone. I was with this guy and this girl. I forgot what they looked like and don't know who heck they are. Oh yeah and there was another guy across the room who looked ....twisted. He looked like a bit of a monster and moved like gollum. (And know I have not watched LOTR recently). The guy who was with was throwing punches and karTAE chops at it. He beaten down the vicious thing. And as soon as the thing hit the ground not moving everything all of a sudden went black and white. I looked at the bed and the shadows from it seemed to stretch in a weird way and for a moment I saw a face and those shadows touched the gollum creature. I told this to my companions and our fearless leader who beaten the dredded thing ...screamed. He ran out the door and the girl and I followed him. As we were running out the house I remember it was well lit, clean, beautiful but then it was quickily turning dark and I heard this reverbating (I think thats the right word) sound. Everything was looking as messed up as the room I ran out of. I went on a small scooter but there was only one seat on the scooter. We each went ontop of each other on the seat of the scooter. It was a bit funny. Later I reached my parents and told them what happened. My mom took me to this 5 story building that looked like a hotel. I had a feeling I had been there befoire and I looked at the steps. Suddenly there was a flash and it was all dark and gloomy and I suddenly remembred at the moment this was the exact place I had a dream BEFORE. This is the second time I remembred a dream within another dream. Not wanting to go through the expirence again and knew this was a dream I woke up ran to the computer and typing this right now..... Ok here is my point What is the most scary yet akward dream you ever had? I can tell you a lot more but there is a problem...I can't remember most of the details :D |
You know, I'd tell you, but in my lifetime, I've only remembered about five or six of them

the creepiest dream i ever had was when i was about 10 and we were spending our first night at Disney World. In the dream I remember getting home and having my parents ask me "what was your favorite thing you did at Disney?" and i couldn't remember anything and i think i started to cry...then i woke up and i was so relieved

I do have nightmares but I end up either kamehameha everything or just genki dama whatever is bothering me. Is that still call nightmare?

I just remember one when I was very young - I was trapped inside a pyramid, and I just basically ran around trying to get out. (With no luck)
Scariest thing that ever happened to me in bed, was I was in a state of semi-conciousness, just drifting off to sleep, and A boys face, about 7-9 years old, appeared, looked down at me and screamed and brought his head right in front of mine. I Jumped out of me kinda semi-sleep and just sat up in bed half scared to death. I've always wondered what it was, maybe a dream, day dream, but It was so real, I could've sworn anythin that it actually happened. |
I was laying in bed, and this gruff scary voice started whispering in my ear... don't know HOW long I layed there or when I actually woke up, but was afraid to move for hours. My muscles actually cramped up..

I got two...not exactly scary....but bothersome...
I was asleep but awoken (in my sleep) by a noise somewhere inside the house. I tried to get up but I couldn't move. There was a weight on top of me ( sleeping on my back ). I couldn't budge. I could open my eyes and I could see there was nothing on top of me. I couldn't even move my arms...perhaps I was paralyzed. Which was scary but then, what could I do if I couldn't move...so I went back to sleep.... Kz |
There is actually something your body does while you're sleeping that immobilizes you. It's to prevent you from doing something (more?) stupid while you're asleep. That may be what you woke up to, Kzonon -- your body still thinking you were asleep and protecting you.
Either that, or the invisible man was out to get you... :D For me, my childhood nightmare revolves around being in a room and suddenly becoming very, very small. Today, I have few nightmares, although I have some recurring dreams. There's one where I'm a player in some twisted game, and whoever outsmarts the other wins. So far I haven't lost... because I change the rules as I go. Hey, it's my dream... My wife doesn't like my "active" dreams, where I start walking around the house half-awake. I understand they can be annoying... the first one of those I recall happened when I was about 18 and had to kill the beast on the floor next to my bed. One hand-strike and it was done. In the morning, I saw I had knocked the soccer ball (football for you others) across the room... |
I had one a couple years ago that still affects me in the physical plane.
It was in black and white, a'ight? This freakish-looking guy was attending a funeral for his dead mummified bird which he placed in a wicker casket. This dark spirit appeared and said "Could I have a piece?" Then it dug it's claw into the bird and took a bite of it. Then, it lifted the whole casket and started eating the bird, casket and all! What I think triggered that: It must have been that little Live Documentary on tombs in Egypt. I think it was back in 2000. It was on late at night. The Horrible Aftermath: Since the bird was the same size (and as tightly wrapped) as a Chicken Loaf Sandwhich from my fav deli, I have been unable to eat the Chicken Loaf sandwich. Go ahead and laugh, you bastards! But this nightmare ACTUALLY had the affect! |
