Was playing a game last night when my monitor decided to stop working, (of course I lost a few hours of playing!! Grrr) But now I think I’m going to need a new one.
Can IW suggest a really good one? Is it better to go for a TFT screen of a flat screen?? Any suggestions would be great. I mostly use my home PC for ‘old’ games like Wis8, W&W, CIV and games like that, I also use it for surfing the net, and doing a little word-processing and excel work. Cheers. |
<span style="color: lightblue">It depends on alot of things - a CRT can be extremely bulky, but can give a better picture for things like FPSs, and graphics editing, but LCDs and TFTs don't give off the radiation that CRTs do. Also, CRTs are noticably cheaper. For word processing and spreadsheets, you probably wouldn't notice much difference, for internet it would depend on what you look at - Flash things, for example, can cause some problems on LCDs (not sure about TFTs)
