Hey everyone. I've enjoyed reading through the messages in this forum -- thanks for the outlet. My problem is this: After doing a handful of quests I decided to start over and create a couple new characters. I exported my Jester, then started a new MP game and imported my Bard along with generating a couple new characters (Monk and Swashbuckler). I made sure to check the option that allows importing of items as well as stats and xp, but when the new game starts my jester is empty-handed. It listed all the items correctly during the import process, but nothing's there once the game starts. Am I missing something totally obvious? (Wouldn't be the first time.)

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thats suppose to happen, all characters that are have their inventory wiped clean at the very begining of the game. It would make them to strong to early to have something like the crom faeyr right from the start. Just import your characters again after the game begins and they should have all your items.

No, only the main char's inventory is wiped clean. If you really really really want the items have two copies of the jester (one PC and one party member) then take the spare jester's things and delete him.

There IS a way how to save imported items.
When the game starts, you see a black screen and you hear a scream of your protagonist. The scream is exactly the moment when all equipment of your party is taken away. But the game interface is working from the very beginning of the game! Even at the black screen, the interface is functional - you can pause the game and manipulate your inventory. Therefore:
1. Pause the game and enter the character screen at the very beginning of the game. You must be quick: you must do it at the black screen BEFORE you hear the scream.
2. Enter your inventory and drop all your equipment to the ground.
3. Leave the inventory and let the game run.
When you regain control, your equipment will be on the ground. No problem to pick it up :D
