bastard attempts to leave my party ever 5-10 mins!! is there anyway to prevent this [img]redface.gif[/img] or is it because my party consist of 2 goods- paladin and jan neutrals- minsc and jalhiera and evil visconia and korgan

are there any patches out there that may stop this madness! hehe just irritated cause i have to reload countless times today

Your reputation is too high. There is a patch that you can get to fix that though here is the link; http://members.rogers.com/mrkevvy/tweaksandcheats.html It should be in there somewhere. Think its called the happy group scripts ...

Korgan keeps leaving, and that's a problem becauuuuuse.... why? In all seriousness, though.. You don't even need to go to that site, just slap on the tried and true Helm of Opposite Alignment and he'll be the next Ajantis!

Thats not what Illumina Drathiran'ar is talking about.

There is a helm that will make korgan good.

Also, the patch that Dagorion would be considered a cheat by some (myself included) because it can really screw up the game balance.

lol.....and hacking in the Helm wouldn't? ;)

To each their own, I suppose.. The entire reason you're able to hack it in is because if you imported your char in a multiplayer session from BG1 you would have your same items.. I don't remember it being in SoA, though most of the BG1 items are.. Anyone find it?
And lose the Drathiran'ar when referring to me.. tis her (my char's) surname, not part of her name.

i also have Korgan in my party, and when i hit 18 or 19? rep. he bounced on me, so what i did was told him to take a walk before i got my 18 rep, then hit the 18 rep. and asked him to re-join. I told him I'd pay him the 500 gp if he joined and he did.... question is ? does he leave if my rep. continues to go up from this point of 18???? I like him as a member simply cuz he has a 5 prof. in the axe and a ton of HP., also i am gettin him prof. in the war hammer so he can use the croem fayr. hes a great tank. so will he leave at this point or no?

Even with a rep of 20, every time you do anything that would increase your reputation, it will trigger the "bounce" sequence for evil characters. Notice that even when rep is maxed out, as soon as you do a "rep-increasing" quest, even though it doesn't actually increase your rep (because you've hit the ceiling of 20), the characters will start commenting as if rep had been increased again. Good characters will make "happy" comments, Neutrals will make "snide" comments, and evil characters will try to leave.

Solution? Don't do anything that would increase rep (yeah right, in this game? [img]tongue.gif[/img] ) or download that patch that was listed above.
