Hey, I was wondering...if I want 32 bit color, and my pc claims it only has 24, how to I persuade it otherwise? Buy a new monitor? Buy a new video card? Download a driver?
thanks for help...and btw, the problem is only an issue because I can't deprive myself of crpg's |
1. Check your video cards specification. Does it support 32 bit colors?
2. If it does, download the lastest driver directly from the manufacturer's web site. |
I have integrated graphics, p2k!

Go to your motherboard's web site. Search for the model of your motherboard, there should be something about the integrated graphic card.
Most of them built in video cards should be capable of generating 32 bit colors but some older ones may not. |
Integrated graphics are crap but it does tend to depend on your driver.
Also about the topic title "32 bit colour blues" ...yes there are quite a few possible shades of blue possible with 32-bit colour :D and shades of other colours too :D *groan* |
Vaskez, that's the wprst one I've heard for quite a while! Ugh!! :D

Stupid Intel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anywhoo, now that I've had my rant, I have to say that my integrated graphics does NOT support 32 bit color (or colour, for the rest of you). I think I'm going to have to get a darn graphics card, though I need one both compatible with my computer and Elder Scrolls III...gosh, I hate Intel! Thanks for your help, IWers!
