<span style="color: lightblue">Yes, kindof.
Some of you will know that I am at the University of Sydney doing a programming summer school thingy... and I am *LOVING* it. A week away from home; seeing great big chalkboards... falling asleep, missing dinner... haven't missed any important lectures, yet, though. Not *yet*.. . |
When you go to uni properly, you will realise that there is no such thing as an important lecture so it is impossible to miss one :D My worst attendance record was in my 2nd year when I think I only went to about 70% of my lectures.

Vaskez is right. I always find that the lectures become increasingly unimportant the closer they are to the crack of dawn.

LOL - don't listen to Vask and Alex . Remember - there are no small lectures, only small students ;) . I used to miss a lot of philosophy lectures in the second half of the semester when you only needed the topic of one lecture to write your final assessment - something I kind of regret now - it's not like I HAD to do philosophy, it was my choice to major in it, but I willingly missed out on something I supposedly enjoyed. Weird ;) .
Anyway keep enjoying it! You can probably already tell it's much MUCH better than school. When will you be starting for real? |
<span style="color: lightblue">Not for another year, yet. This is *realy* fun... I'm typing this using Lynx. :D

Yeah whatever people say, uni is the best time of my life so far. Make sure when you go that you get involved in as much stuff as possible, sports clubs, societies etc.
