Fighting a beholder, Jaheira got turned to stone. 'Not a problem,' I thought, 'Ring of Earth Control time'. Unfortunately, after turning her back to normal, Jaheira reacted as if I had kicked her out of the party, and headed back to Athkatla.

Is this normal, because it sounds like a bug to me?

Tim.

Yes, it is a bug. If she gets petrified or imprisoned, the programming thinks you kicked her out of the party, and she will act like it when you revive her, and leave, which would terminate any romance you had with the character.

You see, petrification gave her a heart of stone, and she was still feeling stoned after you revive her, thus affecting her senses which are not exactly rock-steady by now. You may have been building a bedrock of love up till to this moment, but it will be all eroded away now.

So it isn't a bug in the game; it's a fault.

Tim.

i was in the underdark when a beholder turned jaheira into stone. when i revived her she told me that she must go back to athkala for a stupid reason " to continue her quest with the harpers (which i already done for ages). i think this is a part of the game, not a bug... why dont you try curving her into something new when she turned stone again (daggers are good tools for sculpture)?
