Thy PC at home has been acting quite funny for a while now. Every time I try to do things like double-clicking the My Computer icon (or anything that would normally open the kinda window that opens when you do so), the computer either freezes for a while, sometimes permanently, shows a dialogue box saying:
"Error This module was compiled with a trial version of Delphi. The trial period has expired." ... then a message saying that Explorer has caused an error in kernel32.dll and that the Explorer will be shut down, then the window opens as it normally would :/ I get the same message when starting IE, but it never manages to start. Other proggies seem to work fine... Puter be using Windows ME. I'd like to get this fixed without having to format the hard drive and such, soooo I'd really like it if someone had any suggestions on what to do. |

did you try to scan for spyware? |
Yup.
Yup. Software me uses for such isn't all up to date though (because the internet connection died a while ago... then again, I haven't downloaded many strange files since then )... ... ... btw, next time I'm home, I'll check if hitting the monitor with a hammer helps, so no one needs to suggest that. Edit: Think I may have found a solution to this now, maybe pherhaps. If anyone's having the same problem, check out this. [ 12-11-2003, 03:23 PM: Message edited by: Gnarf ] |
