This is a little rant from me. *ahem*

ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND I ARE IN TROUBLE BECAUSE OF A BUNCH OF JERKS WHO NEVER LEARN.
After getting us thrown out for a few day because they ate in our form room, they go and eat in there again yesterday. This time, they brought their year ten and eleven friends. They made a mess, threw my friend's pencilcase right across the room, sprayed the walls with paint, and one of them tried to get a spray can and a cigarette lighter and make a flamethrower, then tried to blow up the radiator right behind me. Another one asked me things which were none of her buisness, and when I tried to go and put my stuff down, she yelled rather rudly "Oi! You!" And I don't even know her. She also asked why I was there, and I have more right to be in the room than she does!
So now we have been kicked out for a week.
Plus they keep on getting detentions for talking when they shouldn't. And this is the next bit I'm annoyed about.
They were all talking when Mr. Neveil (spelt wrong, I think) told them not to. (He's a tech teacher. I've only met him a couple of thimes, but he seemed okay). So now, they've got the whole form going to see him in his room tommorow: most likely we've all got community service. This means I can't get to do more important things.
And I got my report back (URGH)
And I know a few of them hate my guts and wish I was shoved under the nearest bus (sometimes I wish I was to)
And my teachers hate me.
And the whole assembily today was in french german latin as well, so I had no clue what they were talking about.
And my form's deffinition of me helping them is "you take my stuff for me because I'm too lazy" and "give me your book and i'll copy all the answers"
That's my rant over, thankyou for putting up with it.

Yes, LoA is correct, also use CAPS LOCK more often for SIGNIFICANT words, it ads EMPHASIS to your over all point. ;)

Yes, you will get idiots like that.... although I never encountered any so destructive, but the way you deal with them is.... er... How DO you deal with people like that? [img]graemlins/1ponder.gif[/img] Actually I'm interested to know how other people deal with the common (or uncommon) idiot.

LoL...I also enjoy the [img]graemlins/rant.gif[/img] when rants begin...Just hang in there, Dragonshadow, and remember every cloud has a silver lining.

Tell these individuals that they need to grow up and get out of your life. If they want you to do the answers for them, do what I did, give them all wrong answers. Make them pay for the work they don't do, but doind random helpless help for them. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

They copied up my latin today from my book, and one of them said" you're a lifesaver". last time I ever save any lives.
I just hope they didn't read anything else in my book...

i don't mind your ranting style, i think profanity and cussing has it's place and it's not a family friendly forum. good show getting things out and releiveing your stress without it.

i'm sorry you are going through this. i wish i could help you. i can just wish you luck that the solution will come to you in time.

Well i found that if you ignore the idiots they sometimes go away, but in this case I think that wont work. Idiots are a fundemental problem with society as a whole. Confrontation works for me but I am an aggressive person to begin with.Tell them they're idiots and dismiss them as such. Anyone lighting combustibles in a closed space is'nt going to be around for long anyway.....

Ignoring them doesn't make them go away for me. Giving them answers they can't come back to worked for me. Many of them I can't post here.

Give them the wrong answers.
"Forget" your work sometime.
Don't cave, it all gets better. I had a crappy time at school. But after I left I found university sooo much better. People who share interests and care to know you. That is where it gets better.

And many of them get freaked out by things. If one threatens to hit you, tell them you don't particulary care. Afterall, that would be assault, correct? And that means police.

I used to type up wrong code in my computing class and go talk to someone. I knew the fools would copy it. Random END statements don't help with programming.
