If it still does it's job, no need to waste money. Upgrade it if you/your family can't use it comfortably.

i agree... or unless you want a bigger viewing space... besides that, if you want your spending to be at the minimum, don't buy if it's working fine ;)

How do I make this one break and cover up the murder so my wife cannot accuse me?

We bought a 17' flat screen moniter a few days ago, visually stunning without hurting your eyes, but the problem with many such LCD dispays low viewing angle (not too bad) and low refresh rate (whatever LCDs have which is measured in mili seconds) so if you drag something across the screen you tend to get minor streaking, otherwise fantastic.
Or a CRT moniter (which is the standard type used) which don't have the problems mentioned above, also tend to have richer colours.
Although 15' may be reasonably small I really wouldn't spend too much on an upgrade, but it up to you.
Also if you are serious (BTW I don't reccomend) about breaking your current one the pins on the video plug could be an option, but as mentioned above, sell it! don't destroy it.

i recently bought a 17" CRT flat. It's great... ;)

in PC shops it doesn't look so big.. but when you get at home... priceless ;)
