Does the type of movie player have any bearing on the quality of a movie file? For instance, will a better player (or plugin?) clear up a blurry AVI file or is the only factor the actual movie quality (mpeg, avi, divx).
If this does have a bearing could anyone recommend a good media player? Side query: Anyone know if Power DVD can play files other than DVD's? |
The player should have little to do with it, although DivX has options to reduce quality for better performance, something as simple as media player 2 with the supported codecs should do the job just fine.

Thought as much, hey thanks mate.
