In this supposedly enilghtened day and age, WHY, WHY, WHY do guys still use SNOTRAGS!?!?!?!?! I think this is one of the most unsanitary practices, not to mention, just plain gross! Thoughts, opinions, experiences? [img]tongue.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img]

ummm.....i grew up calling tissues snotrags...what else am i supposed to use to blow my nose? my sleeve?

What I'm referring to are the handkerchiefs that some guys keep in their pockets. You know, they haul them out on public, void their nostrils into them in front of you and then jam them back into their pockets to fester and dry for the next time they need them!

oh well, i dunno why...my dad uses one, but i never bothered to ask him, and now were are on barely speaking terms so i'm not going to ask. i prefer tissues, you throw thema way and odn;t chance reinfecting yourself or infecting the person who does your laundry.

I guess it feels nice and warm in their pockets. :D

Maybe they feel it is a place to store a snack for a more private occasion?

Because blowing your nose in a 'snotrag' beats having the same cold for weeks on end.

However, wouldn't it be wiser to use a tissue, as opposed to a "snot-rag". At least this way the evacuated mucas will not fester in your pocket to form a supper germ, only to re-enter at the next blow?
