It's because of the cheap batteries that people buy when they need new ones. At least that's Nokia's story. So if we all bought real Nokia batteries, it wouldn't happen.

Only one is confirmed to have had a replacement cheap battery. The other is still unknown.

A friend of mine is into the telephone-business. He just got a delievery of Nokia 8210's. I'm currently waiting outside the store to see what happens! :D
