In the first level of the Gauntlet in Chapter 4 I've come across a corridor with a large trap blocking it. When you walk over the trap the walls close and kill you.

How do you disarm the trap? My thief just walks over the trap and gets killed.

Ugh, that has been a thorn in my side for ages. I don't remember if I even managed to disarm it.. It's easier to just walk around it.

use summon monster and let them set the trap off.

This trap *cannot* be disarmed by any means whatsoever. Youll have to go around.

i did it once by sending my party thru 1 at a time and sticking as close to the left hand side wall as i could dont know if it works every time cause i just go around it now
