I NEED HELP IN USING THE PORTAL AT END OF THE FIRST LEVEL. I'VE GOT A WAND OF LIGHTENING KEY AND ASSUMED THIS WOULD LET ME GET THROUGH BUT IT DON'T AND I'M STUCK. WOULD LOVE SOME HELP.

The portal key is in the room to the south-west of the driads (the room with all the traps and the ringing bell when you enter)

I HAVE GOT EVERYTHING FROM THIS ROOM AND CAN'T FIND NO PORTAL KEY. WHAT DOES THE WAND OF LIGHTENING KEY DO? THINK MY GAME MUST BE DODGY GODAMIT

The portal key is in the trapped chest at the end of the bed in the "mistress'" room. It's the only thing in the chest, and it's a non-droppable item so you can't lose it(it goes away when you exit the dungeon).

When I walk into the bedroom there are no alarms going off, also there si no key in the chest, any ideas?

Now, the alarm-thing aint important, but the key is essential to move on. If it's not there, it's a bug, so I suggest using CLUA to get it. It's code is MISC4G. ;) </font>

Hmmmm... just to remind everybody. There are two bedrooms, and there has been confusion over which bedroom contains the Portal Key in the past.

curt32 might have been searching the bedroom with the Air Elemental Statue, which is the wrong bedroom. You have to pass through 3 Forest Nymphs in order to get to the correct bedroom.
