I was just listening to new cd of Iron Maiden: Dance Of Death and I realised that it is just not what the past albums were. Any ideas?

Does anybody eventually listen to heavy metal here?

I do, though I prefer the progressive metal style.

Like Metalica, Ironmaiden stopped making good music after 1990. In my teens I was the biggest IM fan on the planet, then came Fear after dark and boy did it suck... havn't heard a good song from them since except Wicker Man which is pretty good, but not as good as they used to be.

Yes that is right. They were so good before 1990, I have all the past albums, but these are real great. I can hardly say that there was a bad song until 1990. By the way, do you know why so many people from Finland, Sweden,... North lands of Europe make so much (good) metal (Children Of Bodom, In Flames, Hammerfall, Dimmu Borgir, Nightwish,...)? Well some of them do realy suck- Hammerfall, Dimmu Borgir - but... Do you get me? Write back please

I like heavy metal although (anyone herd of spineshank?) Korn etc. I also like punk rock like offspring sorta stuff

Never heard for SPINESHANK. I'm sorry to say, but I don't realy like Korn, they just... They can't make good music. I prefer Iron Maiden, Metallica (1980-1986), Nightwish, Children of Bodom, Iced Earth, Dream Theater, Black Sabbath,...

metallica are good but i think there new album sucks!!! Iron maiden i quite like, and black sabbath are just quality!! Iv never heard of any of the rest. I dont acutally listen to korn all that much anymore, i used to. I quite like there new song, "did my time" though.

Yes new Metallica's album SUCKS. But you should listen to other bands if you like metal, realy try to get some of these CD's, will you?
