To all those who played or know about the game Thief 2 - The metal age...hear me out and plz help~

Something strange happened...when I tried to play, the whole computer just shuts down and restart...
I am on WinXP...does that give any incompatibility with the game??
Do I need patch or is my file corrupted?

T_T plz help...I love this game so much!

hmm, have you updated windows recently? mine does that alot, and the only wya to fix it is to get the service packs

I've had a lot of issues with XP and games prior to getting all the updates, but never a full shut down and restart. That strikes me as rather odd myself. Still waiting on Theif 3 though.

P.S. I hope you find your answer, but this kinda really should be in the miscelanious games forum.
