Hi Willow! I'm not too sure about euthanasia being legal here, I know it *was*, but I thought it was made illegal. Still, there is a lot of controversy about the subject. I'm in kind of a hurry right now, so I can't help you any further.. sorry :(

It's legal, the rest of Europe practically outlawed us for it, but the law was passed nonetheless. That doesn't mean that every doctor now can go around and kill every patient who's asking for it though. There are still some rules that need to be followed, but still, it's legal here, yes.

i think euthanasia is sometimes perfectly understandable and fine, as long as you do have rules to it. for some people, death can be a release from agony that may have lasted for years, thats fine. if a teenager comes asking for one because her boy/girlfriend had cheated on him/her, then it wouldnt be acceptable to grant it...

Read the article about that gothic band that wants some dude take his own life, live on a broadcast while the band is performing. Personally I think its a pathetic publicity stunt and that that band should be dismembered ASAP...
