Sorry to be a pain in the ass but...

Can someone give me the link to a Registry Cleaner...I tried a few from download.com but they really were crap.

I used to use one Andrewas gave me a link to but i had to reformat... :(

So if Andrewas or someone can give me the link to that one it would be great .

Thanks in advance,

J.W.K

Me? Linking to a reg cleaner? Are you sure it wasnt willowIX?

Can you remember what it was called. I can probably dig it up again given a clue at the name, but I have no idea what I linked you to in the first place.

Just be careful. I have had a lot of problems with reg cleaners erasing BGII, and no patch seems to fix this; so, don't try any automatic cleanup, examine each item.

All i can remember is it wasnt an auto-reg cleaner, it let me choose what to delete.

And yes it was you Andrewas you gave me the link the same time you linked me to Spybot SD.

If you cant remember its no biggy just need to clean up some stuff.

I use Regcleaner which I think has been incorporated into a commercial product but is still available. I found this link on google:
http://www.pcmedixwebs.com/regclean.htm

Regcleaner has both an autoclean feature and allows for manual removal.

MM it's now called Jv16 Powertools and has alot less power than the good ol' Regcleaner 4.3. The latter is the best registry cleaner I have ever used! So if you want a good one look for that, if you want a slightly worse one use the new jv16 (note that jv16 isn't freeware!!!).

Try Ace Utilities.
