Okay, I have entered the underground city. Everybody wants to kill me! As soon as I enter, drow are after my ass. I go into the bar and everybody wants a piece of me.

Is this normal? I mean I am all drow dressed up, I visited the Silver Dragon and she spelled me. So I thought I would just blend in with the other folk.

Do I have to battle every person I meet I here?

Did you anger the Silver Dragon in some way (attack her)? When you were at the gate to the city, what did you tell the drow (I am the humble Veldrin, I am <charname> from the lair of Adalon)? Is your PC male or female? When you first came to the city, the first time you stepped foot in, was everyone INSTANTLY hostile? Perhaps you didn't go to see Solaufein quickly enough.

Drow are just a pain in the a** i say kill em all ! SLAUGHTER THEM ! EAT THEIR LIVERS ! and all of the other nasty things they would do to you [img]smile.gif[/img]

Altough i always enjoy the game of exploding slaves...can we make it a world sport ?

<font color="gold">If you said to the Drow outside that you come from the lair of Adalon, or if you said you were Veldrin and begged to get entrance, all Drow's in there will be hostile, because the guard understood that you arent a real Drow. ;) </font>

Dear me.. Good luck taking on an entire drow city.. And if you eat their livers, do it with a nice Chianti and some fava beans.

I agree. I was so jazzed going through Chapter 5 on my first game, doing all the Drow quests, snatching the right eggs, and then for a grand finale, slaughtering everyone in the city, sparing only the dog. Those Mind Flayers got away, but I know how to avoid that now.....I think I even got that damned Jarlaxle and his Mage on my first game. And then I came on here, I was so excited, all set to say, "Hey, guess what! I just exterminated an ENTIRE DROW CITY!!"
Only to find out.....that's what everybody does.

They should have put more powerful Drow in there--keep the main road out of the city easy, but put some tough Mages in places like the Tavern and the Slave Pens.

I think I seriously screwed up. Nobody talks everybody wants to kill me. I guess I answered the guards wrong.

How can I do the friggen quests if I can't get anyone to talk to me?

In other good news, my only reload prior to the screw up is in the underwater city.

Well, if you're going to take that kind of tack on it, why bother with Ust'Natha at all? Descend into the Underdark, head for the Kuo-Toa tunnels to the west, and exit out to the Elven encampment and start Chapter 6.

You'll miss out on a lot of interesting stuff, though.
