Well well, Lord K, I had thought you and the Gibberlings faded from existance. Good to see you up and about again, nice photo buddy :D
|
I like the picture. These space photos make you wonder though....
|
That's Mars by the way. Nice one Lord K How is the lady and the young baby going? And not forgetting yourself, how are you?
Keep popping in, we miss ya :D |
Oh my god, it's full of stars...
Did I use that quote before in a spacephoto thread? ah who cares... |
The cool thing about galaxy pictures is that if you think that every light spot in that 'black curtain' is a star, it really strikes you how small you are.
|
Hmm - are we looking at the same picture?
To me it looks like a picture of the moon and sun the moment right before (or right after) a total solar eclipse. Insane BTW: IMO the feeling you get, when you look at a space photo is more than hundredfold exceeded by the feeling you get, when you look at the sky through a real telescope. I am not talking about looking through some expensive professional equipment situated on some distant mountain top. A backyard telescope at the cost of a few 100 USD will make you able to see lots of wonders, if you invest some time and interest:) |
Its amazing. I've got it as my background. A little stretched but it looks fine. Love it!
|
So, the meaning completely eludes me, this just a space photo? Cuz I've been looking for gibberlings for the last hour or so and I can't find any?
|
makes you wonder whether if it's the sun or a nuke explosion on Mars. :D
