If you send a PM or email someone from their profile and you get an error, don't worry, it's expected. I just haven't yet installed our Mail server software yet. I will do this tonight, and set all the accounts back to normal.

ALL email was not lost, so we're cool!! [img]smile.gif[/img] Just wanted to warn ya now. don't freak out thinking we're crashing again or something!! :D ;)


PS: That error will happen mostly when you PM someone

Does that mean PMs are getting through or not?

It means the notification email isnt being sent, the PM itself is stored in the forums own database so as long as IW itself is undamaged it will get through.

Thanks for clearing that up. So, I guess we should just check out boxes and see it anything is there?

It's only a problem with the email notification, so pm's should be ok.
So glad the forum software is ok! Darned lightning, anyway!

This Surge protector/UPS thing I bought yesterday is as heavy as a bloody monitor! :D (it's the battery inside it). But this will stop 99.9% of all lightning/surge spikes.

Anyway, I'm setting it up now, so it should sent email PM's soon!!
