I have an older (no longer supported) dye-sublimation photo printer. It's time to upgrade, and do more.
Please share your knowledge on either the Epson 900, or the Epson 960 (I want CD printabaility with my photos). The 960 with it's 2 picoliter droplet size has received very rave reviews, who has one?

I don't have an Epson 900 or 960, but I do have a lower end model Epson (about $50) and works great except the ink tanks sure are expensive ($30). Canon's aren't bad either. Have separate ink tanks and do good work. Though not as user friendly as Epson. Sorry if that was not on topic. [img]smile.gif[/img]

if you want cheap ink just get those old LX models that are still around :D

or get canon since they are cheaper OR HP and just get refillable ink (i dont know if they have that over there but in the PHilippines there is [img]smile.gif[/img] ).

and I would recommend you getting a multiprinter instead of getting a printer, just get the HP1000+ (i forgot the model) but its around 129 US dollars and you get scanner and a printlike xerox machine (since its a multiprinter). and the printing quality is good as well (with color of course)

Hey thanks for the input. But thats not exactly what I'm interested in.
I'm going from a dye-sub printer which is 16.8 million color photo printer only. I'm looking at these two Epson's due to their low picoliter count, and high DPI output. Picoliter is the size of the droplet on an ink jet, smaller is better for intricate work. Also, they are the only two on the market that can print on CDR print ready CDs.
