Probably the Warlocks, very early grateful dead. I'de really like to see what those acid tests were all about. not participate mind you, just check it out, I love the whole beat generation scene.

Probably Carlos Santana and/or Jimy Hendrix.
Both are great players of their own guitars and it`s weird that the guitar doesnn`t go on fire when they`re playing it.
