I want to create a document, but word pad just does not do what I need it to do, ie create more than 1 page, link pages to the first page, things like that, what is the best free(el cheapo here) downloadable software that can handle more than 1 page documenting?
edit...oh and seeee Larry, I am asking or advice, not venturing on my own this time , I need it soon, because we are finanly moving :D I know I said it beore, but plans got changed, but now we have no choice

Sorry stormy, the only program I use that would do that is not free, Microsoft Word.

LOL wordpad! You should do a search for and download Open OFfice. It's just as good as MS OFfice and it's free.

I don't know about other states, but in NY State, the court offices are actually REQUIRED to use Word Perfect. I only know this because I've worked on projects here that produce information that the state uses and they have to be in a format that WP can understand.

I was extremly tired when I asked that.
what I want to create is a multiple page document, instead of one long page, I will try that one guys thanks.

edit, oh and we did have Microsoft works, before the system crashed, but I can not find the install cds :( , so this is going to be a temporary thing until I find that. I was looking or something to replace the lost cds until I find them

602 Suite is an excellent "free" Microsoft Word clone.
