From the 1st to the 10th of august, i'll be in Quebec participating in a qualification tournament for the paralympics. You can find more information about it in the following link.

I want to invite everybody who has some time and is able to get there to come take a look. I'll be competing in goalball but there are several other sports aswell such as atlethics and judo.

Thanks, dude. It's going to be though but at that level, everything is though. We prepared well though and have a good team. Now we only need a bit of luck with the draw.

Are you joking, or are you guys making a good chance to win gold ?

Wow JR - good luck!! It must be fantastic to be able to represent your country, especially in such a big event as the paralympics! I think I remember the gist of goalball from the last paralympics. I really hope you make it!

It was a bit of a joke. As i've said, we have a good team and believe in our abilities to qualify. First place isn't even so important. The first five qualify so a place among the top 5 is what we need. It's giong to be hard and the competition is though but from what i heard from others who know the sport internationally the teams that have the most chances of qualifying are USA, Canada, Australia, Finland, Spain and yes, Belgium.

Thanks Aelia. We'll do whatever we can and it is an honor to represent your country in big events. I've been in several so far and won two European championships so i do have some experience in that area.

I live in Quebec, in what town are you going to be?

Grojlach 07-21-2003 06:09 PM

Good luck then, JR! I'm sure you'll do fine.
