<FONT FACE="lucida sans" SIZE="2" COLOR="#00ff00">in a couple of days again, i'll be getting a new pet.i like cats a lot . but my brother seems allergic to cats.any nice and playful pets that u think i can buy for without allergic-ing my brother?

I have 2 out side dogs, One's a pure bred German Sheperd And the others half German Sheperd and half Lab. IMO You should get a penguin as a pet. ;) Dogs are good too I suppose. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Don't be too quick to say that. Mini or toy poodles are good housepets for those with allergies. They're also about the size of a cat and can be pretty lovable.

I have three cats and am an insane cat lover. but we also stole a dog just before christmas (not stole so much as found). but I hear rabbits are cute and fun to have, not to mention quiet. or ferrets, but they smell.

Very quite, but can bark if it needs to. Looks like a little lamb and weighs about the same as a large housecat (20lbs).

you can still get a cat. get the hairless type. maybe that's where allergies come from (from hair). just a thought.
