Where do I find the Hammer of Thunderbolts?

It's made for you by the Dwarf in the Docks District. You find peices of it all over the place, but I remember that you can find the scroll to make it with the Shadow Dragon in the Shadow Dungeon.

1. Go to the Windspear Hills and find Firkraag's dungeon.

2. When you fight Tazok (yep, same one as in BG1), he'll drop the Sewer Key.

3. After you finish the dungeon, take the sewer key back to Athkatla, to the Temple sewers (not the Copper Coronet ones).

4. Go to the northernmost point of the map, where the party of adventurers first attacked you. You should spot a hidden doorway. Use the key on that door.

5. When you enter the hallway, a psychic force lashes out at you. You may be stunned for a minute or two, but continue on in and up the stairs.

6. You'll be in an Illithid lair. Battle through 3 rooms, and in the last room, on a pedestal in the center, you'll find the Hammer of Thunderbolts.

Thatll be the crom faeyr your talking about. The Hammer of Thunderbolts is one of the component pieces, its in the mind flayer dungeon beneath Athkatla. IIRC you need the sewer key from Tazok and its one of the secret doors in the north of the sewers - the Eastern one I think.
