Ok, thsi is really strange. When I try and update my anti-virus program, a message pops up saying this:
"Out Of Memory at line: 831" And nothing happens. I click ok and the window stays blank, with nothing happening. When I check the Task Manager, it still says its running, but I have to end task it anyway as its useless... Anyone know what's going on? Anyone else have this problem before? Any help, as usual, greatly appreciated . EDIT: Now this is REALLY strange...I just tried it again and it worked! I'ms till a little worried though...the error message came up the previous two tries... [ 07-12-2003, 06:10 AM: Message edited by: slicer15 ] |

Havent a clue. Windows VMM is crap, out-of-memory errors usualy dont appear until the system is practicaly unusuable due to hyperactive swapping anyway.
EDIT *andrewas wakes up* Or, I could be missing the obvious. You marked this as an IE error, so I suspect its a java applet thats used to do the update. I have seen java applets throw memory errors with several hundred Mb remaining. Dunno why it would go away and it should never appear when the applet is running at normal load, but maybe something get messed up. [ 07-12-2003, 09:33 AM: Message edited by: andrewas ] |
