Hello!
Unoffical Item Maker of the Ironworks, DJG, here! Also, if you are a Moderator, can you please ask Ziroc if I can become OFFICIAL item maker if the space is free.... Anyway after a few repeated requests on instructing people how to import items into their game I decided to create a whole topic on it, calling it the Item Importing Clinic! There are several ways of importing items into your game. I will post two here. First, put the item file in the override folder to be able to access it. ONE: SHADOWKEEPER To do this, choose your save game. Open it and open IB, item browser. Choose the item in Item Browser, and put it into your inventory slot. Open your game in BGII, and it should be in your inventory, ready to use. TWO: CLUACONSOLES Make sure you have cheats enabled. To find out how, check the cheats/hacks section of the main IW site. Once done, open your game. Open the cheats menu (CTRL + SPACE) and type in CLUAConsole:CreateItem("xxxxxxx"). Where xxxxxxx is, replace it with the saved item name. For example "danring". MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE SPEECH MARKS!. It should appear in your inventory, ready to use. If you are unsure of any of this, post here or in "Item Making For You" (Link at bottom), or PM me with details. Thank you for reading, DJG. [ 07-18-2002, 08:18 AM: Message edited by: DJG ] |
