Wow I'm kinda jealous. I haven't been to a good concert in a long time. Wish I were seeing Pearl Jam live. I'm happy for you.

Yeah, anyone who says rock n roll is dead has not been to a Pearl Jam Concert, that is for sure!

Yo Drake, join their Fan club and only get the best tickets for at least one show and at least one free peice of original exclusive music a year. We got 6th row last time, but my Fiance let the mebership expire...oh well. They treat their fans the BEST.

The last two nights Eddie Vedder has come out just before the opening act and played an acoustic song for "all the people who showed up early". Truly a class act!

Yeah, and spiking a fake George Bush head on stage is real classy too.

Yep, Freedom of speech is beautiful. The song "Bush Leaguer" on the latest album it one of my faves... "Born on third, thinks he got a triple"

Last night he came out wearing the Bush mask for that song, and when he took it off, he put over the American Flag that was draped on the mike stand, and then ripped the flag right out from under it. That says it all in my book.

EDIT: The cheering didn't stop either. ;)

Tonight one of my all-time favorite covers was performed, "Patriot".

"...I ain't no democrat....
...sure the hell ain't no republican....
...I belong to one party....
...That party is .....
FREEDOM!"

It was sweet.

Well now thats not such a bad idea. But do they ever play in Denmark? I thought that they didn't any more. well I guess I'll have to see.

Well, I doubt they'll ever play Roskilde again... But I don't think they're ignoring Denmark alltogether just out of principle. Maybe they'll pay Denmark a visit during their next World Tour again.

I haven't seen any 2003 European dates, but rumor has it that they will tour in 2004 as well, so maybe they'll spend some time across the pond, I hope so for ya'lls sake.

Moshing and slam-dancing are stopped by security now at Pearl Jam shows, as per the request of the band, and I believe they only play veneues with mostly reserved seating so the deadly crush can never occur again.
