I've gone through the game countless times, and I'm sick of doing the first few chapters, so I'm too lazy to find this out myself. My question is, will the Jahiera Romance progress if you don't "help" Xzar? I would rather not cross the Harpers... seeing as my char is one of them.. And plus they're just plain cool. But anyway, is it possible to just ignore Xzar, or blow him off, without ending the romance?

Doing Xzar's quest is essential.
