Can lettuce really be evil, I accept that spinach is evil, but lettuce - come on!

BWAHAHAHA! *slurps down more boiled spinach with butter* Nope....I like lettuce on a salad...but peacocks....they have ulterior motives, I tell you! They are out to conquer the produce market!

I happen to like spinach that you very much. Lettuce is more of a filler than a tasty treat. It's like eating something stringy and grassy purely for the sake of the fibre. Not what you would term evil, but hardly pleasurable either [img]smile.gif[/img] .

My bunnies obviously think lettuce is evil - otherwise they wouldn't subdue it so ferociously! :D

You could add some Croutons and grated Parmesan for extra flavour if you want, but lettuce is niiiiiice! ;)

You forgot to add freshly grated pepper. This reminds me of the old Greek philosophical sect that held that refraining from eating beans was one of the essentials of a virtuous life.

Ah yes, I did indeed! A nice bit of red and yellow pepper on the salad, including extra slices on the side, and you have a perfect salad!
