Watched an outstanding show on the History channel last night about Gold and gold coins and collecting. They showcased the Canadian National Mint...Apparently the market for gold couins is very competitive and the Canadians have made their nich by their nearly unequaled purity 99.999% pure
gold and their artistry. They have some of the most beautiful coins I have ever seen.

Anyone else out there know anything about Gold coins from other nations?
