<font color=lime>For some reason, when I highlight stuff, or use a drop menu, etc. The background colors so to speak, are all black. I have checked my preferances and they say I am still in the color options I normaly use! I dont know whats up. Any ideas? </font>

Have you checked your Windows color scheme? Right-click on desktop, properties, appearance. It might give you a clue.

Alternately, a new theme may cause something like this.
