Is having your ears pierced meant to hurt so much two or three days after?
Because this KILLS and I don't know if I did something wrong. :( And I'm getting kinda worrid.... |
"...and I don't know if I did something wrong."
Did you do it yourself? |
No, I went to a specilist...
My dad offered to do it with a pin for free... |
Have you been turning your studs every day like you're supposed to? Have you been cleaning them every day like you're supposed to also? If not, one or both of those is your problem. They will be tender for up to 2 weeks while the holes heal (not close, heal). That's why you need to turn the studs every day, so that they don't heal onto the stud.

So, it could just be normal? |
Well, keep in mind, you just punched a hole through your skin, nerves, blood vessles, etc. When you get a normal cut, it's sometimes hurts for a few days doesn't it?
Still, if you're concerned, you can always ask your doctor to look at it. And stay away from your Dad with that pin |

See that's why it's not worth bothering with piercings...don't you have enough hassles in your life?
|
I got an ear piercing a looooong time ago. It worked fine. Just remember to turn the stud (I mean the earring ) a couple of times a day and apply a local antiseptic such as TCP or a cream. It should turn out OK.
However, if you suspect you are developing a bad infection or it really pains you, go to a doctor/clinic asap. Hope this helps. |
