I killed the Shadow Dragon but didn't get anything from him. Didn't he suppose to drop Shadow scales or something like this?

how did you kill him, if you used disintegrate, or the wand of frost/cone of cold, or petrification, then monsters usually lose most if not all of their loot.

Hmm... no, it was the simple Melf's arrow... or Flame arrow, I didn't use high level spells for the death blow - they all were out already.

The following coud have happened: Your loot IS there but you cannot find it - even if you serach for it patiently. The loot is under the dragon's corpse.
This happened to me several times and always with dragons. I think the problem is caused by the magnitude of the dragon.

Save the game and try to rest near the dragon. The corpse vanishes and the loot should appear. Switch off "rest until healed" condition so that you will rest no more than 8 hours - you must not allow your loot to vanish, too. This always worked in my games.

I tried it and rested 8 hours, but still got nothing. May be a bug. Oh well, I couldn't use leather armor anyway, but I really hope nothing like this will happen when I'll go for Firkrag. With my main character as a cavalier I wouldn't like to lose Holy Avenger! (And dragon scales!)

It's not the shadow dragon scales that are so important there, though, it's the:

...Scroll of Crom Faeyr, one of the necessary components to forge the ultimate hammer of destruction. If he didn't drop that, you'll never get to forge it.

You can probably CLUAConsole it in, or use Shadowkeeper to do it, though.

Though the shadow dragon scales have a nice armor class if you kill the dragon early in the game

the loot from dragons (in BGII) is always buried in their gut, so their treasure always appears in their midsection area - it is usually one of the sack icons that the game uses for special items...
i'm sure you searched and searched for that pinchy icon to appear but i find it hard to swallow that a little bug like that would make it only into your game...haven't heard of that happening to anyone else...
did you try killing him again..?

u could just use a code to put it in because all in all you have deserved it!

Yeah... shadow dragon scale is cool, and it has acid resistance... besides, Anomen's butt looks cute in it. *smirk*
