i have now listen to 3 of Malcom X speaches the first one was 89 minutes other one 45 and the third 78 and he is a good speaker i like what he says^_^

There is absolutely no doubt that whatever his politics (and his politics were nbuts - just look up the Nation of Islam's theories on the creation of the white race), that Malcolm X was a gifted orator and an exceptionally charismatic man. That's why Elijah Muhammad had him killed - Malcolm X was becoming the most powerful figure in the religion, and this couldn't be tolerated.

No Bardan. He had Malcom X killed because he turned from the cult of the Nation of Islam and embraced real Islam. And thus he had become a danger to Elijah Muhammad.

Not exactly, when he came back from a pilgrimage to Mecca, he really opened his eyes. There he saw muslims of all colours, black, brown, yellow AND white. I think he came to realise that the nation of Islam ran it's own program, and were basically full of shit.

johnny has it spot on - he was turning away from the Nation of Islam, because having met muslims of all colours and races, he came to the conclusion that their seperatist agenda was wrong. He started to preach inclusivity, and working together with all oppressed peoples, regardless of their colour, to change society. This made him more dangerous to the state (united we stand etc is very true) and earned him a lot of enemies within the NoI. Hence he ended up dead!
