Is it because my char is good? I'm thinking maybe if my char is evil she might think it could "work" but as it is she whines about how she *and* Shar know the romance will never work... I *really* don't want to do the game over AGAIN to test my theory.. But I do know that Shar forbids her clerics from associating with clerics of good deities unless it's a) it's business related or b) said cleric is trying to corrupt the good cleric.. Associating with the PC is business, but I suppose Shar draws the line at romance.. Anyone else know of another ending to the romance, one not so anticlimatic?

The romance does continue on ToB. You can actually talk Viconia into changing her alignment there.

Tell her to stay on as a friend.
