I'm desperate to know If anyone else has had this problem. I have completed the underdark areas of the game and went up to Weakens Promenade to sell of a lot of the items I'd collected. When I try to enter the Docks the game crashes every time. I can enter every other area in the game, just not the docks. I have downloaded the Final official patch, which fixed many problems I didn't even know I had, but not this major one.
Does anybody out there know how I can fix this?

Oh damn, I know how frustrating that is, as I've had the exact same problem myself. :(

In my case, the only thing that helped (I tried CLUA Console to warp to the area, installing patches, etc) was reinstalling the game. Just put your savegames in a seperate folder, then deinstall and reinstall.
