I know this might have been posted before, but how is the correct form of Drow pronounced? Is it Drow is in oh, or doh, or is it prounced as if it was said ow? Basically, a friend of mine complains when I say Drow, when he says Drow like Droh. To me its like Tomato- Tom-ado or To-mado, either works, but I just want to know if theres an official pronunciation.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure 'drow' rhymes with 'cow' - that's how I say it, anyway. I've never heard anyone else in real life say it any differently either.

Dr-ow or dr-oh. Those are the two most common, I believe. Either works.

Drow rhymes with cow. TSR, Dragon Magazine circa. 1985.

Why did I just KNOW that TL would be able to cite "chapter and verse" for this? ;)

Oh thanks, now I can tell scott that officially Drow sounds like cow and not what Homer Simpson is always saying.

Hey, I credit learning the rules of AD&D well enough to DM at a young age as a big boost in the critical rules thinking that led me to law school. No kidding. In fact, when I was studying modal sentential logic... hey, were'd everybody go?

*Reeka eyes glazing over* Were you talking to me, TL? ;)

"Drow" rhyming with "cow" sounds crap, so I say "Drow" rhyming with "show". Not that I ever say it, mind. That's how I would say it.

oh hush vaskeX no one was asking you....as her head falls to key board while listening to TL go on and on and on and on and on..........................
