i was just wondering if anyone if you good people here at ironworks uses the chatprogram mIRC if you do is it any specific channel you are on ?

i was also wondering if it dosent exsist an #Ironworks channel already could i create one and then everyone who has mIRC can also chat with eachother on mIRC that would be cool^^

i chat sometimes.. like once a week .. so if you guys have one for mirc.. post it here :D pls!!

well for the moment u can just come in on #ironworks i ´created it but im thinking of creating a channel thats up 24 hours a day

umm what is mIRC?

mIRC is a program that allows people to chat using Internet Relay Chat.

The official IW channel is #ironworks, on the undernet network, but thats down at the moment since certain members and ex-members abused it.

It should be back soon though, Ziroc is working on a way of making it secure enough to stop that kind of abuse.

mirc website it's a chat program, you go to a channel and talk with people in there.

I use it sometimes for playing utopia and that channel is private. that's the only thing i use it for

would i have to download anything? cuz my husband will not let me do that anymore,lol i keep using all the space up

it's only a small program, only ~1.5 mb

yeah you have to download but it is a very VERY little file tell your husband that it wont use up much diskspace

I use mIRC, and don't mind chatting to other IW users...tell me the channel (not the official one, as its down) and I'll join.
