Diablo is ABSOLUTE CRAP!I got a demo version, it SUCKS!

I say you can't really compare the 2 Diablo2 is really nothing like BG2 but in terms of the game i played longest would have to be Diablo2 up intell i just lost muh account 10 days ago. Played diablo2 for about 2 years 5 months only played BG2 one time through. But all in all you can't compare the 2 games.

I would have to say that no Diablo is not absolute crap its a good game in its own respects. Not really a deep story based game like BG2 but its a very nice competitive game dueling is a great aspect in diablo2. (Plus you can't always judge a game by a demo)

Diablo= Walk and slash. (repeat)

BG2 = DEEP Story, walk and slash, NPC's... gosh, there is just no comparison.

i enjoyed diablo2 but i continuelly play bg2, Diablo2 is fun, bg2 is engrossing

I am sorry I am not so good with slang terms Angelousss but when you mean engrossing you mean good or bad?

I prefer BG2, but felt Diablo 2 had mroe replay factor and good online, a bit like PSO. Diablo waseasier to play if you hada short bit of time like 30min, but BG2 was more time consuming I felt.

D2 has far less replay value. I tried to go through it again with a necromancer instead of the paladin, but I got bored in act1. Admittedly act 1 was boring the first time round, but the thought of slogging through it all again put me of for life.

Now, BG2 is another story. Im currently working on a sorceror [solo/insane/ascension/redemption/tactics] and then Ill have an evil party [insane/TDD/ascension/redemption/tactics/valen?] that I got half way through BG1 and had to abandon. Then Ill do a different good party to my first one, probably with the same mods but with the Imoen romance mod as well. Dont have that one figured out yet. But Jans in it this time, for sure. Or maybe Ill do another solo, anti paladin is supposedly quite powerful, or a thief kit, never had one of them for a protagonist. I could go on. All of these games will be different experiences, the solos demanding new tactics and styles, and the parties providing a new atmosphere each time depending on who you take.

D2 gathers dust somewhere in my brothers bedroom, if he hasnt chucked it. I dont care either way, I have no interest in doing that game again in single play, and battle.net is full of hackers.
